I was lucky to score this for a great price. I searched practically everywhere imaginable comparing prices and deals and Walmarts seem to be the best especially with the game pass. I used to have a Xbox 360 but the setup on this digital console is a whole lot different than the 360 was. I got this for my son for Christmas and gave it to him early since he's leaving for Christmas to go out of town but we really only did the setup process so far and haven't been able to play any games so I may try to come back and update my review if I'm able. 

PROS: Console is compact and easier to fit beside tv than the old Xbox console. It can be moved around in 2 different ways (standing upright, or lying horizontally flat). There is a fan installed to keep the game system cool when being played longer times and it's easy to tell which side the fan is on by seeing the black area on the console itself. This has a matching wireless controller for better control and more comfort in whichever seating preferences you have. The setup process is pretty easy, it has a QR code for logging in to a Microsoft account or creating a new one and syncing the two. After this, it's step by step instructions on the tv. It's effortless to connect the wiring from console to TV and pretty simple using just 2 hookups. This came with 3 months of Xbox passes to play limitless amount of game play on virtually hundreds of popular games like GTA, Roblox, SIMS, Minecraft, And Sandbox inspired gaming. After expiring, a game pass is pretty affordable which costs 16.99/monthly and there are free games like Fortnite that can be played without a Xbox pass. You can stream apps like Netflix on the Xbox if your down for watching a movie instead of gaming. The controller is pretty much just the same as Nintendo Switch for button placement so I don't have to remember new buttons or get confused as to how it works.

CONS: I wish this came in more than 1 color. The digital version is in white and the regular console is in black. After the setup process, the display and learning basics can be a bit confusing for a newbie and some getting used to. The controller is pretty heavy and takes 2 batteries which did come with the console, but even without the batteries it's still heavy. When setting up a free month of Xbox pass, it wants a credit/debit card number or PayPal sync because the Xbox pass is pretty much a subscription, so whenever the month is up, it will charge the card. This is pretty disappointing considering some people don't feel comfortable sharing that info if it's supposed to be a free game pass (this console game with 3 months of it). It would be helpful to include exactly what games are included in the pass and what games can be played without a pass. I was only able to read a brief description of games and not a actual full list. There should be a detailed description of how long it will take to do updates and game downloads depending on internet speed to save a lot of unnecessary purchases and depict the best choice when choosing the Xbox S or X. My internet isn't very fast so it takes practically hours or pretty much all day long for a download.

Awesome holiday deal

I’ve had this Xbox for about a week. The only problem I’ve had with it so far is call duty Cold War I bought, and I’ve had no help from the Xbox team getting it to work. Very customizable. Very smooth.

Next Gen is awesome!

Needed a new console for Hogwarts Legacy and this was exactly what my budget needed. Super affordable yet a powerful console. I’ve had no issues thus far and the quality is by far stunning. The console is tinier and heavier than I expected but packs a punch. I very much recommended this if you want to next gen on a budget. Only downside is it’s internal memory: 512 GB. That’s not much for anything. 5-6 games max if you’re lucky. Other than than, it’s worth it. Just know it’s disc-less so you can’t play physical games.

It’s perfect and runs good. I’ve had this for 4 months now, honestly it’s worth the money and it’s not even that expensive when comparing to the others systems.

I recommend this for anyone who wants a console.

I live the value of this console. Not only can you play amazing games from the 360 era which in my opinion are one the best, but, the game pass library and the remote icloud gaming is just phenomenal. So much value and versatility.

Best Console for the price

I got this for my 6 year old son. He absolutely loves it. You may want to check your internet service to make sure it's compatible with the Xbox system and be prepared to pay more than just the system. There are subscriptions and fees and in game things to pay for that aren't cheap.

my Xbox series S it is amazing

To get straight to the point, on the box which it comes in, it says “512 GB SSD” which lead me to assume I’d have 512 GB of space for my games, though that’s not the case because of almost 29% (148 GB) being used for system files which I feel is very misleading. Other than this inconvenience it serves its purpose to being a better version of the Xbox one S.

Less storage than advertised

I want return the order of my Xbox series s to my local Walmart in Haines City Florida. I threw my boxes of Xbox series s away by accident but I can return the refund of my series s to my bag.

absolutely ridiculous. no cords and no controller. they would not do anything except expect me to return and hope i dont have the same thing happen. i should have paid attention to the one review that says the exact same happened to them. I will not be returning since its a waste of time especially with christmas. This was supposed to be a wonderful gift for my son now he cant even play it. Had to order everything separately.
