[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this monitor for 3 years now. I am no gamer, as I don't have a pc (this is hooked up to my school chromebook) but has performed very well overall. My only complaint is that it has started randomly turning off at random intervals, but that is probably caused by the connection, not the monitor itself. It also came with an HDMI cable. The colors can be a little funky at first but that can be adjusted in settings. Additionally, if the monitor randomly dims for you, go to settings>picture>dfc>off and should will fix it.

Great 1080p monitor overall

I had this monitor for a couple of weeks now and it's a huge bang for the buck monitor. Very little light bleed for IPS, AMD Freesync, 75hz refresh rate, and even a vesa mount. This monitor does include an HDMI cable out of the box. Changing settings on the monitor is very simple thanks to the joystick. The monitor does wobble if your desk shakes, not a huge issue for me though. The bezel is average for a budget monitor. It's not thin but not ridiculously thick either. There is screen flickering and screen artifacts but only if you use the faster response time mode. There is room for improvement but overall I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a 22 inch monitor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great Features!

My old 22” finally barfed. As I had a photo and video editing project due I needed a decent, affordable replacement now. As Microcenter is only 20 miles away and they have the best selection and stock in the Denver area, I handed out in search of a replacement.

I found the LG IPS monitors on display had the nicest pictures, price to performance ratio and features I wanted. I purchased a 24MK430H and headed home.

Setup is very easy and the OnScreeen Control software the really useful (especially for split screen use). I was able to make accurate color adjustments using just the built in menu system – I have never had a monitor that would properly adjust for photo work without additional software adjustments. Affordable Photo/Video Editing Monitor

This has a good 8 bit panel (I didn't see dithering and Windows reports it as 8 bit) with nice colours, viewing angles and the little extra refresh rate makes everything a lot smoother. 

I only have a couple of issues with this monitor. The first being that the stand is not very good and it wobbles when I type on my keyboard, I'd recommend getting a VESA mount for this. My second issue is that the factory settings are not very good, it comes with the black level stabiliser on which makes blacks look grey.

Apart from that it is a great monitor and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic Budget Monitor

I bought my 24MK430H-B monitor a couple of weeks ago, and set it up this weekend,  easy to do. But the stand feels weak, and the monitor tilts slightly left and very far forward, unbalanced. Specs say it's adjustable at -5 to 20 degrees, and that may be true, but I can't figure out how to get it to _stay_ at the 20-degree angle; it just flops back down. No help in the manual, which is just a quick-start with a few more words. I will probably return this to the store this weekend. If you have a suggestion for a fix, LG, let me know.
