Samsung Soundbar HW-T415/ZA

My husband was so excited about this set of speakers and once we got them hooked up he absolutely loves them. We had a sound bar before but it wasn't great quality for the sound compared to this one. We now use this all the time and gave the other soundbar to our daughter for her room. I love how clear the sound comes through and the added bass from the subwoofer

The sound is awesome

This soundbar is the perfect add on to our TV! As with most large flat screen TVs, the sound in our TV is pretty terrible. It's “tinny” sounding and lacks depth. However, when we added this Samsung soundbar, everything changed for the better. The setup was extremely easy right out of the box. There were only a few things to plug in and the system was up and running. The subwoofer automatically paired with the soundbar, which I love because it means one less step that can sometimes be difficult to do. I am using it in an average sized family room and the sound is clear and fills the space nicely. I don't have any rear speakers attached to this but I really like the option to add them via Bluetooth if I want to at a later date. The main soundbar is fairly small and nondescript so it fits nicely right under the TV. It comes with some brackets and wall anchors for use if you would need to wall mount it. Not something that I need right now, but a great option to have and not need to order anything extra. I have watched movies and played different kinds of music and this soundbar and subwoofer easily stands up next to other really expensive brands. This is a quality product that has great value for what it is!

Taking our TV/Movie viewing to the next level

This is a great sound system! We connected it to my phone via Bluetooth, 1st just the bar, it was good, but when we connected the subwoofer, it was amazing. The bass sound that was displayed, was the game changer. We played music through the phone, and extra bass caused the cardboard on top of the bar to vibrate, and at that time it was not very loud. On the TV, it sounds similar to a movie theater, obviously not like a big open place, but it is powerful enough to make you feel the drama, or excitement of what is going on in the movie that's playing, it will make you jump at times, when your not expecting the sudden sound of drama. This system is a whole lot better than the speakers built in to your TV. This sound bar will definitely improve the sound, especially when it comes directly at you, it can either be set on a shelf, TV stand, on the floor, or mounted on the wall, it comes with all the hardware needed. The wireless connection to the sound bar lets you place it anywhere in the room, so you can enjoy it every where. Also can run an heavy extension cord outside, for a family get together, and play your favorite tunes while relaxing or playing games. setup is easy, just plug them in, find the right mode to pair the two together, and your in business, and if your TV is not Bluetooth, there is a cable to connect from the sound bar to the TV, and a remote, so you can still enjoy the awesome sound.

Terrific sound!

The soundbar that I have been waiting for to make a beautiful sound in my bedrooms and living room. They look just the same as the photo but to top it off the sound quality is just amazing and more.. Thank you guys.. I can’t wait to get them mounted on my walls..

Perfect

My husband couldn't be happier with this Samsung soundbar and wireless subwoofer. It elevates his man cave. The sound is crystal clear and he loves the Bluetooth feature, to be able to play directly from his phone.

Man Cave sound system

This set consists of a sound bar and a subwoofer. The sound bar is about 33.9 inches wide, 2.1 inches high and 2.9 inches deep. It is very light at only 3.3 lbs. The subwoofer is 13.5 inches high, 7.2 inches wide' 10.7 inches deep and weighs 9.5 lbs.

It was relatively easy to set up in spite of the fact that the included, very brief, manual was almost worthless. There is an online manual, but it was very hard to find, not on the Samsung website. The most difficult part was trying to open the remote in order to insert the batteries. The remote had a directional marker to slide it open but it does not slide easily. This is the only thing I had to look up on the full manual to make sure I was doing it right. Still I had to slip a blade in to loosen it a little. Not something I would recommend.

I connected my sound bar to my TV with the included optical cable. It also has a USB port (no USB cable included). The subwoofer is wireless (only a power cable) and was easy to pair. The functions from the remote are rather difficult to monitor because the display on the sound bar is very hard to see. Since the sound bar is so wide you might want to mount it on the wall. It should be easy since it is so light and mounting brackets and hardware are included.

Overall, despite a few inconveniences, I really like the sound from this set. I especially like the bass sound from the subwoofer.

This Samsung 2.1 sound bar system is an excellent system upgrade for any television audio system weather for sports, news, movies and music. I am very familiar with a Samsung 5.1 sound bar system which is slightly larger and this has as good or better sound as the one I know which cost hundreds more.
The “2.” indicates that it has sound for the front and left speakers and the point one indicates that it has one subwoofer. It does not have surroundsound. But the sound is so good you may not notice unless you watch some really wild action movies with a lot of movement which I have done for years. One in a 100 times it makes a difference other times I can take it or leave it.
It is so easy to install that you only use three cables to power cables one for the sound bar and one for the subwoofer. The subwoofer uses a wireless connection to the sound bar called Bluetooth which you don't need to worry about. The instructions tell you how to press the circle button at the top for five seconds until the connection is made. The last connection is to your television and to the sound bar with a very thin optical cable which is supplied use a flashlight and make sure you have the alignment correct and do not press too hard just make sure it is installed and aligned correctly and it should pop right in. Of course your television should be off and all power unplugged.
When you power up your TV and you press the remote control button on your Samsung circle button at the top for five seconds to make the link a display will show you on the sound bar that it has been successful. Now sound will be emanating from your TV and the sound bar merely mute the TV or turn the volume all the way down and adjust the sound bar value to your desired level. There are two levels on the remote control: the left controls the volume up and down and pressing it in mute the sound. The right button controls the level of your subwoofer. In my experience do not get aggressive with the subwoofer only increase it may be one or two values or decrease at one or two values and place the subwoofer approximately 6 to 8 inches from your wall facing towards you with the whole facing towards the wall.
Highly recommend mounting The sound bar with Hillman metal zinc wallboard anchors with screws included number six number 8 a total of 4 sets for $1.77 from Walmart general lee in your store. They hold 50 pounds and they are used without a drill just a Phillips screwdriver. After you have inserted the anchors make sure you place the rubber grommet/spacers between the anchor and the screw that is to say put the screw between the spacer before you tighten down the screw onto the anchor this is where you will hang the sound bar in the groove of the spacer.
I have been through three sound bars over the last six years and this is top quality and very very good sound I can't say more give it a try.
Finally, I used my sound level meter on an audio track and set the decibel level of my TV and my new Samsung 2.1 sound bar at the same level but quality of the sound went from a D to a B+.

Very detailed sound and excellent subwoofer detail

The bar connected easily to my Fire TV. Has a good clear sound. I have another smaller Samsung soundbar with a built-in woofer. The quality is the same, but this one with the wireless subwoofer seems to have more power. At 34-inches in width, it is too large for the TV we have in a cabinet. Plan to move it to another TV with more room. My husband is hoping I decide it will work best in the garage for his TV. Does come with a remote. Didn't give 5 stars, becaue I feel like it is more equipment than I need. The soundbar without a separate subwoofer is sufficient.

Honestly.. This _—_ is trash.  I should've took the advice from that person who's review I read when reading them when I purchased it. 
You get better sound out of a JBL Xtreme 2 and it's basically a small tool box size. 
The sound bar sucks ok. The sound the popped speakers when i didn't even turn it all the way up. Sorry Samsung. This was a fail. F on the sound bar. C- for the subwoofer. Overall F. Better luck next time.
