Anything to brighten up the dishes. I bought it for the retro design. I have not noticed this brand in stores before, but I usually just grab and go when it comes to dish soap. This brand works as well as any other dish soap.

I only use this dish soap it is the best. It cuts through grime and grease . In addition to having a great name.

There's nothing like the classic clean scent of lemons to motivate you to do the dishes!  Joy ultra is concentrated, so a little goes a long way.  It's priced lower than the leading brand dish soap, but I find it works just as well.  I was pleased to see the brand relaunched at my local Walmart.  Give it a try; it's just how you remembered it!

I love this soap! I usually only use Dawn but decided to try this. It makes just as many bubbles and cleans just as good. It has a very soft lemon fresh scent, nothing too strong. I've purchased a few times. Lasts a long while.

The dish soap works as good as the leading brands but cheaper. Almost half the cost. Mom used this back in the 60s and 70s. I used it in the 80s and then it disappeared.  My only complaint is the fragrance. It smells horrible. Its not what I remember. We used to use it to wash our hair in when we were kids.  I dont think I would use it for hair washing today.

Good Cheap Dishwashing Liquid

The person who packaged it put it inside a vegetable plastic bag.  I figured out why when I opened it.  The bottle was partially empty and all over the outside of it.  I was not happy.It was noticeably less full than a full bottle I already had.  See picture for reference.

It's not noticeably better or worse than other brands. Hard to screw up dishwashing liquid I guess. Wish it had a cap that slides up and down to close like most of them used to instead of it being connected by a flap but none of them have that now. We like the positive name.

In my opinion, Joy possibly changed the formula a few months ago. I noticed that it didn't suds up like it used to. I have to use three times the amount I used to so my pots, pans and dishes come clean. So I am searching for another product such as Ajax that is less expensive and works better.
