I���ve been keeping this on my desk while working from home to put on for zoom meetings. Makes me feel a little more put together, adds some color to my face, and is super comfortable! I find it to be the most hydrating tinted balm I���ve ever used (and ive tried many). Love the color and how buildable it is. Love that it isnt shiny! Obsessed.

this product is gorgeous! i love the color and the plastic free and ethical sourcing aspects as well. the tube is actually pretty sturdy. i���ve got it wet a few times by accident and it lasts. truly awesome product, love this brand! it���s great for when you want minimal makeup, the color makes me feel super pretty with just a little bit of effort

I have horribly dry lips and go through hundreds of lip balms so the ability to cut plastic here is fantastic. But not only is the packaging compostable, the lip balm itself is fantastic! Moisturising, not sticky, the perfect amount of tint, and a subtle minty flavour

Fantastic!

It gives such a natural beautiful color just how I would like. I find it super moisturizing even when after I shower it���s still on. The only thing I would say that���s a problem is that it doesn���t twist up, same with the peppermint one I got but other than that it���s perfect.

I really love this lip balm -it gives a lovely tint to the lips and is also really mositurising without being greasy. I have had the experience with other lip balms where after a while your lips feel more dry -not the case with this one due to the high-quality ingredients. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

Best lip balm ever

I enjoy this one and got a replacement tight away when I lost the first one.  The tint is very strong so apply it with a mirror.  Do let it warm on your lips before spreading it around.  It's a low to mid range moisturizer.  Waxy lip balms make my lips shed a bit more.  That's not always a bad thing.

Very nice

I was a bit worried when people said it makes your lips tingle (I get coldsores, so tingling isn't a good feeling!), but it actually feels nice.
   I like the matt look and the ease of use.  The container is nice and tight so it doesn't slip back down inside.
   For a tinted lip balm, I found the colour surprisingly strong, and the red/brown isn't right for me so I wouldn't buy this exact one again - would try a non-tinted one though.  (Do you think if you added some zinc you could end up with a pink tint and some sun protection to boot..?  I would definitely try that!)

I was pretty disappointed with the formula of this lip balm, it's very dry and the pigment comes off in little specks/flakes rather than having an even coverage. It works much better if I apply it on top of another lip balm or something like papaw ointment but as a stand alone I'm not a fan.

Doesn't apply smoothly :/

Don't get me wrong, I love Ethique products and the concept of the new lip balm range. However, this lip balm didn't deliver for me. It is more of a lipstick - so high in pigmentation that it needs to be applied in front of a mirror, and it also has pigmented flakes that come off the stick and make it a little messy. On the other hand, pigmentation is so intense that I cannot apply enough to moisturize, and definitely not reapply on-the-go when my lips feel dry. This product could work for me if re-engineered to a much lower level of pigmentation - probably around 10% of what it currently is.

Too much pigmentation, not enough moisturisation

I was really excited to try this lip balm - I've usually got about 4 or 5 different tinted lip balms on the go, so it was great to find a plastic-free option for my addiction! The colour is pretty, however unfortunately the texture is so dry it's nearly impossible to apply. When on my lips it felt sticky and unpleasant. I tried warming it up before applying it, however that didn't make any difference either.
