Depends on skin type . Dermatologist recommend for sensitive skin types. As a cleaner doesn't dry out skin like regular soap and can be used as moisturizer. If you use acne meds can be helpful with dryness.

The mild skin cleanser is the only skin care product I've used that actually helps my face get rid of pimples. extremely soft on my face. The quality is excellent. The dimensions are appropriate. It also fits people of various ages, thus age is irrelevant. Flavor less—that is, absolutely no smell—is excellent. Similar to the package, it is reusable. It is ideal for sensitive skin and offers additional advantages for your face. after a week of use, the results are spectacular, especially when moisturizer is also used.

This facial cleanser was a great purchase! It hydrates as it cleanses, soothes and replenishes the skin's moisture. This facial cleanser contains Vitamins B5 and B3, It removes dirt, makeup and impurities while strengthening the skin's moisture barrier. When I use it around my nose area it removes all the dirt and gunk! If you are looking for a gentle skin cleanser that won't clog your pores, This is the one!

I must say by far this is my favorite cleanser . My skin would get sensitive sometimes, and every time I would use this to soothe my skin. This doesn't make my skin feel burn , tingling. Even tho I prefer a scented cosmetics but this one does it job amazingly so that's ok with the unscented. It cleans and give me skin a fresh look after every wash. Highly recommend to those who has sensitive skin,or  young ones who just start to have a skin care routine .

I have dry skin and am constantly looking for products that are gentle without stripping my skin of it's natural oils. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry after use. It's lightweight and has a smooth lotion-like consistency. If you are used to sudsy cleansers, this one does not foam, can be used with or without water, and rinses off easily. I like that it is fragrance-free. Overall, it is a mild and effective cleanser that helps me maintain the moisture in my skin

Great skin cleanser

I started using this cleanser after some mild breakouts in hopes of preventing/helping my skin. I have pretty sensitive skin so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't make my situation worse - I found with this cleanser I was definitely improving breakout-wise, but not in a crazy amount. It doesn't foam which is a downside for me IMO, however, it is definitely suited for sensitive skin and helps to clean your face. Good smell too!

Good cleanser for sensitive skin

The first time I use it, It was great, my acnes actually faded away. Then I stopped using it for a while when the bottle wasn't empty. Then I used it again after a year and it burned my face and I don't know why, still the same bottle. My face was red and dry. After I used all up, I bought new one this year, no more burning problem but I hardly see the improvement of my skin until today. I have less acne now thanks to my OTC medicine but the redness and the pores are still there and this product doesn't seem to help remove them.

Still need improvement

This new formula Cetaphil gentle cleanser is burning my face. My face is red, burning and feel a little bit dry after use. Old formula Cetaphil gentle cleanser is really the best for me. The old formula is feel moisturize, soft and clean. It improve my skin barrier. But this one is not like that. I feel so sad.  It's burn and appear small ance. Please produce as old formula. 😭😭😭

My son is approaching his teenage years. As an esthetician, I was trying to establish a basic skin care routine for him. Unfortunately, immediately after using this cleanser his face broke out into red raised hives. His eyes were super red. I gave him Benadryl, applied a cold compress and made sure we removed everything off of his face.

The attached photo is after we did what we could to calm things down. He gets the occasional breakout, but generally his face is clear and smooth in texture.

Needless to say, it was very scary. I am disappointed in this product and definitely will not be using it again.
