Some say it starts as a nice blue color and turns purpley-pink when anything acidic is added. It's super awesome for making color changing drinks, and has a cool ombre effect when used in certain drinks. It is a great novelty for bartending, especially with martinis.

Don't let your delivery driver toss this over your fence
This is a non-returnable item, so in spite of the efforts of the Amazon package personnel, this glass bottle was not meant to be tossed over the fence onto the concrete sidewalk. Thankfully, I was able to strain out the glass with a coffee filter so I could experiment with it, but I still wouldn't serve it to my friends. This is pretty cool, though! It turns your beverage a deep ultramarine. Obviously, the more you use, the richer the color, and a little goes a long way. But, if you add any acid, say a lemon squeeze, it turns more purple.Amazon was nice enough to refund my purchase, but I will be trying a powdered version next.
