I wanted a sturdy bike with options to adjust the ease of the cycling. The levels of tension are basic but still functional. The change in resistance is smooth. The LCD display is also basic and easy to use. It does not keep a record of your individual workouts. It does not have any pre-programmed workouts. Unless you reset the console, it will pause and continue workout stats. [Note: Once the machine timer reaches 100 minutes, the timer restarts at zero because it only allows 2 digit hour and 2 digit minute counter.] I like that it uses 2 AA batteries (included). No need to plug it into an outlet (nor is there the ability to do so). [Disregard the nearby cords in my photos, those are from other electronics near the bike.] It turns on when you start to pedal and it powers down after 5 minutes of no use.
I keep my bike open, but it is easy to unfold or fold and move. I like that the stabilizer bars are wide. I have had no issues with wobbling. I did place an exercise equipment mat underneath it to protect my hardwood floors from any wear & tear--still no wobbling even at the highest resistance or tension.
The bike arrived well packaged. Even though the box appeared dinged from shipping, all the pieces were in tact. It didn't take long to assemble. Users have to attach the stabilizer bars, handlebars, pedals, seat post, seat, console and tension knob. I tried to heed the past reviews concerning the resistance cable for the tension control, but still had issues with that step. Installing the cable for the magnetic tension knob is the trickiest part for sure! The instructions and photos in the user guide, at that step are, not helpful [unless you've assembled similar items in the past]. I couldn't find any videos for this specific bike model. Even though I tried to be extra cautious, I still made the mistake of removing the black plastic spacer too early. I found other similar bike assembly videos to figure out what I did wrong. Once I saw what I should have done, I carefully used a flat screw driver to extend the area where the black spacer was and put it back. It was tight, but doable with care. As soon as the spacer was reinstalled I was able to quickly hook up the magnetic tension cable correctly, pop out the spacer (again) and complete the assembly.
NOTE: The seat doesn’t fit to the bike with a standard bike fitting but with three screws. So there are only two options. The instructions does provide guidance on what option to use based on your height. But if you're on the shorter side and want more custom positioning you may have to take additional steps to make it more comfortable. If you're handy, perhaps drill other holes or replace the fitting. I also read that there are Exercise Bike Seat adaptors that allows people to attach the bike seat of their choice in perhaps a better position.

I literally never come to write reviews for any product I buy on Amazon, but this bike warranted taking the time to share my experience. I need to lose about 150 pounds to be a healthy weight, and so I bought this bike because I liked the price point and simple design---didn't want a fancy stationary bike because I wasn't sure that I'd be good at discipline.
I've been using mine since 1/1/2021, and in conjunction with thoughtful eating (not restrictive, but just more consideration to caloric intake), I've lost 23 pounds in 1 month. All I've been doing is using this bike for 30 minutes per day, at a moderate speed, with the resistance set to 3. My normal routine that I've found works wonders is to hop on the bike immediately when I get home from work, and use the time to either scroll through social media, watch some news, or even catch a show on Netflix while pedaling away. I'd say the first week I had a bit of fatigue and it was hard to muster the motivation to do it, but by the end of the fourth week, I crave that 30 minutes on my bike and use it as a way to decompress after a long day at work. Sometimes I've found that doing a bit of yoga after also helps my body relax and soothes my muscles a bit---something to consider.
Assembly:
I only messed up one time when assembling and that was accidentally reversing the stabilizing legs. Once I realized my mistake, it wasn't hard to undo and fix. I would say the most challenging part was figuring out how to attach the resistance cord on the back of the display section, which took me about 15 minutes to figure out. Overall, it took me (32 y/o woman on my own) a total of 45 minutes to fully assemble. It would go even faster if you have two people working on it. The instructions look more intimidating than it actually is---just take your time and set out your parts ahead of time and it will be a cake walk.
Pros:
Quiet, space saver (outstanding feature), extremely durable thus far, high weight capacity, effective work out without being overly exhausting---it's all about what kind of effort you can/want to put in.
Cons:
I wish they had a better place to put a phone or tablet. The location on the bike it currently sits at is entirely useless for watching anything on your phone. It's convenient if you want to simply store your phone there when you ride, but I like to distract myself by watching something. The only way I can do that is to stream to my TV or set up my laptop on a nearby table. It would be cool if the manufacturer moved the phone storage portion and just extended the digital screen portion with a silicone mat to simply rest your phone on.
All in all:
To be frank, I am stunned at the success! I truly don't feel like I've changed my life too much, and only incorporated a very MILD self-discipline. This is so huge for me, because I'm not usually able to maintain this level of consistency when focusing on my weight. I think that's because in the past I've opted for more extreme dieting, or really rigorous work outs that weren't fun and disincentivized me in maintaining/continuing them. Not this bike! Low impact and can be as mild as you make it.
The best advice I received when I started my journey last month when trying to lose a large amount of weight was to only do what felt good in the moment, and stop when you don't feel so good---especially in the beginning. If you kill yourself trying to do more than you are physically capable of, you won't be inclined to hop back on the bike the next day. If you can only pedal 5 minutes, only pedal 5 minutes to start.

I was amazed that the instruction manual is written by people who actually speak English and French. Vocabulary and grammar are perfect and all the details are incredibly well presented. All the parts are identified and vacuum sealed in containers that are labelled. They correspond to the steps in which you build the bike. Lots of parts but very clearly explained. I built this in three hours with no help. I highly recommend this to Seniors and people who want to improve their fitness level.
1
Dealing with the seller and shipper - superb and very easy. The seller responded immediately to my request for an invoice. The shipper [a large well known firm] has an online trace facility that updates at each stage of the shipment journey and keeps you very well informed. The bike was extremely well packaged and arrived in pristine condition.
2
Ease of assembly - quite easy. It took me about an hour and a half working methodically and slowly by myself, step by step. The instruction manual is well written and clear. Others have commented on the fiddly last step re connection the tension cable. It is fiddly but if you google you can find videos online that show how how to do it. Plus other videos on the overall bike build. Recommend watching these a few times first. Also, at the last step prop the bike up so that you have easy access to the tension cable aperture. One last tip - if you have a ratchet socket and driver set, use that to tighten the bolts and screws. That way you can easily get a really good solid build.
3
Build quality - absolutely superb. As others have said it is built like a tank and rock solid. It is whisper quiet in operation - you really can't hear a thing.
4
Moving it around - easy. Follow the instructions and it rolls and folds very easily.
5
Comfort - again, superb. The large oversized seat is very comfortable and the bike feels very stable and secure.
6
Ease of operation - good. The onboard console is intuitive, easy to use and shows a very clear large display.
7
Pricey? Yes, a bit. The item ships from Germany. In my case it was shipped to the UK so, as well as the purchase price, there was a hefty shipping fee for the courier. Plus if, like me, you are in the UK then, post Brexit, there is an additional charge from the shipper for VAT on the item leaving the EU plus various additional surcharges for fuel, weight etc. Could come as a bit of a shock if you are not ready for it.
8
Conclusion. When all's said, it is like everything else in life - you get what you pay for. In this case, you pay a premium price but you get a superbly built machine that I think will give my family years of service.
