A new carrying mechanic has been brought in that will allow players to pick up and transport their opponents across the ring after initiating a grapple. Elsewhere, the commentary team has been completely changed in an effort to make in-match sound bites feel like the real thing. Newcomers Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves have been recording their lines since 2016.
