Great Improvement But Would Appreciate The Storage Container I Got Previously For The Sharps

I had a chopper type deal because I have an absolute bouquet of health issues that make me standing and doing stuff in the kitchen at a bit of a premium. Anything I can do to shorten that time? VERY helpful. The last set up broke. So when this was recommended in a writeup online, I was due for a new one.

Right out of the box, I could tell it was sturdier. Much heavier plastic. And the sharps were all sharper. I mean, sorta spooky sharper. But it made the whole process faster and the end product of cut up potatoes and onions? Nice. But then I had this pile of 4 sharp parts and I thought: Don't they have little storage bins, I mean, actual, purpose built ones like my last set? And no. The instructions say to just store them somewhere dry. I got out the old bins from the previous set (that part isn't what broke) and they didn't quite fit.

So I figure I'll be grateful to not have kids around, be very careful and store them inside the big bowl of the chopper between uses. No where in the instructions does it say to do that. This set was cheaper than the last setup. I guess that's why.

So function? Awesome. But you lose a star for not sending along a home for the blades. I would have paid extra for that, now that I realize that they weren't there.

I love this kitchen tool, especially preparing chopped salads. I'm a little clumsy with a knife so anything that does the chopping for me is a win! Just read the tips - which type of veggies on which setting, how to clean,etc. I have tried random veggies and would say use your garlic press for garlic and avoid sundried tomatoes in oil. Pieces get smashed everywhere inside the chopper and it's the hardest thing to clean. However, normal cleanup is so easy! Any little pieces you can generally pick them out with tools in a few minutes, throw it in the top rack of your dishwasher, and call it a day. Overall, I'd recommend it for all the kitchen gadgets lovers and anyone that might be the slowest choppers imaginable (it me).

Pros:
- It chops/works amazing (following instructions on which veggies work on which setting)
- Easy to clean with provided tools
- Dishwasher safe

Cons:
- Don't try chopping anything with oil/sauce. Ex: Sundried tomatoes in oil. The bits make cleanup difficult.

1) When you've got three hours of dicing to do, this will make it take one hour instead. I was using this at work because of how much Pico de gallo we prep in a week and I did NOT regret that decision. Three hours of work was reduced about 45 minutes.
2) It's sturdy enough to take some of the harder to chop veggies and considering what I've watched my coworkers put it through, it's taken a beating. It also hasn't broken yet, so it's definitely holding up well.
3) The blades are sharp enough to cut tomatoes even after several uses.

Cons:
1) The part that pushes the produce through is by no means easy to clean. Even the tool they provide misses some gunk that gets built up if you're using it for more than a couple of minutes.
2) Unless you cook a LOT some of these attachments are GOING to gather dust.
