This cleaning machine is GREAT. I just spent an hour cleaning upholstery on a recliner, sofa, and cushion from a 30+ year old papasan chair. The cat's favorite papasan chair hadn't been properly cleaned in years and it brightened up noticeably as a LOT of accumulated dust was extracted. The armrest on the recliner had some staining which was cleaned up nicely. I appreciate solid, well constructed equipment and the Bissell Little Green Pet Portable Spot and Carpet Cleaner 1400W doesn't disappoint. The average sized person can easily hold the machine while cleaning furniture. The power cord is plenty long enough, maybe 12-feet long. The instructions are concise and easy to follow. Two different 8-ounce bottles of cleaning solution were included. One ounce (two tablespoons) of cleaner in the reservoir with hot water worked well. If I weren't a bit tired at the moment, I'd drive the car up near an electrical outlet and clean the car's upholstery. I don't see any down-side to this machine. I will advise users to practice awhile, on an old cushion or something, at all different angles, in order to establish a technique and refrain from over-spraying the cleaning solution. Most users would find it advantageous to have some assistance the first time the machine is used. Invariably, you'll spray too much water on one surface or another and water will run off certain fabrics pretty quickly.

terrific cleaning machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so excited to have my own little green for years I would barrow my brothers to clean my carpets and furniture. Perfect portable machine to store as well as use and care for. Great for apartment as well as home. I can't wait to use this to clean my car floors I'll be interested in how she does, but think it would have no issues. I like the new hose cleaning attachment which is a good upgrade. Thumbs up!

I ordered this because all the recommendations from friends, I was skeptical. But honestly best purchase ever!!!! Cleaned my sectional and looks brand new now!

Best purchase ever!!!!

This definitely got the job done! I have a small dog who loves to stand in my cream accent chair. I tried scrubbing the chair by hand but it left water stains. My chair looked gross. I went over the chair with the little green machine once and it made a big difference and took less than 5 minutes.

Gets the job done

Gave into buying the little green machine after researching and reviewing all the reviews and was not disappointed at all ! It was worth the buy and so happy I bought it. It did an amazing job on our couch. With two kids that constantly spill drinks, slime , yogurt etc and also pets in the home, I am beyond amazed at how good my couches look again !

Worth the buy !

This machine is a lot easier to use. Rather than pulling out the big steamer vacuum cleaner and get it all set up and then have to go back and clean it. This is simple pick up add water %26 cleaner and do what you need to and empty and put back in the closet.!

Easy cleanup for pet accidents spots

THIS MACHINE IS GOOD I NEEDED SOMETHING TO CLEAN MY COUCH AND MATTRESSES I HAVE A SON AND HE SOMETIMES WETS THE BED AND THIS MACHINE DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB I DIDNT SEE ANY BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS OF THIS SO ILL POST THEM.! IT WORKS PRETTY WELL! TMI BUT THIS IS FOR THE MOMMIES OUT THERE THAT NEEDS SOMETHING TO HELP GET THE JOB DONE!! I BOUGHT THIS WITH MY OWN COINS!!

GOOD LITTLE MACHINE

This thing is terrible. It doesn't suck up anything but the water it puts out. And it does that half-hazardly. It leave materials SOAKING WET. I had to place towels over my couch and leave it for almost a day for it to get completely dry. It also stained one of my couches because it wasn't properly soaking up the water. It also doesn't pick up dog hair and honestly clean well on carpet either. Overall just terrible.

Waste of money

This is the worst product. I tried to clean my couch and while it sprayed the water and you could scrub it, it picked up almost zero of the water! I used the entire clean water and the amount of water picked up was almost none after 45 minutes of attempting to suck it up (see picture)! My couch is now soaking wet (see picture).  I will be returning this ASAP. Save your money and use water and a scrub brush… it'll be less of a hassle and get it just as clean without the ridiculous amount of water left on the surface.

Glad i saved the box

I received my item through shipping and when I finally got the chance to use it, it was completely used..
Water was still inside the tank 
Dust was filled inside the other tank and very dirty
All 4 tools are missing 
I was fooled by the packaging cause it completely looked brand new and packaged but I'm very disappointed and will be returning this
