I didn’t get many stretch marks during pregnancy while using this oil!! It’s only my first pregnancy so I don’t know if that’s just how my skin is or if I owe it all to this product. But I’m happy with my results.

I applied this to my belly and hips. One bottle lasted me about 36 weeks, and I only started applying twice daily towards the end. I apply the Bio Oil after showering and then another lotion on top of it.

I saw some reviews where people were concerned about how the ingredients would affect their pregnancy, but I found comfort in the fact that bio oil was designed with pregnant ladies in mind! I also found the Safety Assessment on Bio Oil’s website reassuring - “SAFETY ASSESSMENT
Bio‑Oil® Skincare Oil has undergone a safety assessment by a qualified toxicologist and has been classified as safe for its intended use by adults, including pregnant and lactating women, and children over three years old.”

Google also says “Bio‑Oil® provides a comprehensive skincare solution for use throughout pregnancy, and has been used safely by pregnant women for over 20 years to help improve the appearance of stretch marks and scars. Its unique formulation works to maximize the skin's elasticity, and helps the skin stay well-hydrated and supple.”

Only downside is I don’t love the scent, but it’s not super strong. Can’t smell it anymore once I’m dressed.

The oil arrived as described with no issues.

First, this is a great product but don’t expect immediate results. My son went through a rapid growth spurt and ended up with some stretch marks in his back. His mom recommend this and I purchased some for him.

So, the oil is easily applied to the skin. A little goes along way. Results…there has been improvements in the look and depth of his stretch marks but it takes time. The changes occur slowly. I didn’t expect significant changes in a short period of time so I haven’t been disappointed. I knew it was a process but the oil has definitely helped.

I applied it at night for him and he typically worn an old black shirt to deal with any residue. I found prior to bed to be the easiest time to do. Also, the oil has no smell.

I highly recommend this for any one with stretch marks or scars. Well worth it.
