We wanted a quick, comfortable, relaxing getaway for a couple of days, and that's exactly what we found at the Creekstone Inn. The newly renovated property is tastefully decorated with quality finishes, from the beautifully tiled bathrooms to the comfortable mattress and bed linens. The cozy lobby area has a fireplace, sofas, and games. The hotel is not staffed 24-7, but the key code system to get access to the building and our room worked seamlessly, and in the afternoon friendly staff poured happy hour wine for us and other guests. We highly recommend Creekstone Inn and will definitely return.
Way way overpriced!! Do not waste your money here! If you cannot be there by 5pm depend on getting no service to get you into your room or help with baggage or car. Nothing …not even a glass of water or bathroom available when their “access codes” do not work. Really not worth it at all so many other places in the area way cheaper and much much better. We asked for a one hour extension on check out and they said no after trying to access the room several times. Very tired and terrible service. Not impressed at all!! Not very clean at all! No parking and unsafe for nice vehicles. I highly do NOT recommend
I would give this a 3 star had it not been for Raven and her ability to change a situation into a positive one. When we arrived are room had not been cleaned. Also the room was very small. We were in a local So Cal town that gets mostly weekend visitors, we were there mid- week so there were only 4 rooms taken, yet we originally were put in a very small room next to the hvac systems. I chalk this up to our lower price we paid on Orbitz. Fortunately, Raven came over from the other property, put us in a room that was larger ... and cleaned. She also went out of her way to find me a power cord for my phone since I had forgotten mine. Once settled in we loved our room and the ambiance. It was very clean. Nicely decorated. Made us feel like we were staying in a hotel with the $200 per night.

It is extremely disheartening to ever read a review like this on our inn. While we understand that this guest wasn't satisfied with their experience, we do feel it necessary to respond to her specific allegations, as this is not at all the normal experience guests have with us.The guest showed up at 2 am, apparently, they were having difficulty opening the front door, as soon as we were able to get out of our pajamas, we made our way over to open the door, this happened by 2:15 am - we have the security footage to show this. We are a small inn located in small town, so we are not able to offer 24 hour baggage assistance. All of our guest rooms are stocked with 2 very large cans of Liquid Death water, complimentary. In addition, in our lobby we have free kombucha and cold brew on tap from 9 am - 5 pm. We don't advertise any of this, as we just want to welcome guests.We always accommodate late check outs and early check ins when possible, also without a fee. This guest happened to come over Labor Day weekend and we were completely booked. We needed to have the maids service the room, for the next guests to be able to enter on time.We absolutely pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our rooms and hotel. We underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 2021, and have really put a lot of our heart and soul into making it a chic mountain retreat.We would consider all of Idyllwild very safe and our area in particular. The comment about our parking being unsafe for "nice" vehicles is just simply not true. Most of our guests do arrive in luxury vehicles and, there have been absolutely no issues.We do hope that you enjoyed the rest of your time in Idyllwild!
